Maximize Results, Minimize Discomfort

Clinical guidelines to maximize your results and ensure your comfort during and after your session.

Preparing for Your Hair Removal Session

To ensure the most effective treatment and a comfortable experience, please follow these guidelines in the days leading up to your appointment:

  • STEP 1: Stop Shaving or Tweezing
Stop Shaving or Tweezing 2 to 3 days before your appointment. This gives the new hair enough time to grow so it can easily be grasped with the tweezers during treatment.
  • STEP 2: Stay Hydrated
Drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your session. Well-hydrated skin allows the follicle to release the hair more easily and improves overall comfort.
  • STEP 3: Exfoliate & Cleanse
Gently exfoliate and thoroughly cleanse the area to be treated 24 hours before your appointment. This removes dead skin cells and allows for more efficient access to the follicle.
  • STEP 4: Moisturize Regularly
Keep the treatment area well-moisturized in the days prior to your session. However, avoid applying any lotions, makeup, or products immediately before your appointment.
  • STEP 5: Numbing Cream (Optional)
If you plan to use a topical numbing cream, please apply it approximately 30 minutes before your scheduled treatment according to the product instructions.
  • STEP 6: Avoid Caffeine
Refrain from consuming caffeinated products on the day of your appointment. Caffeine is a stimulant that can increase skin sensitivity and make the treatment feel more intense.
